Stein am Rhein is one of the most beautiful and best preserved medieval old towns of Switzerland and famous for its magnificent murals.
High over the old town lies the fortress Hohenklingen. The ascent is rewarded by a fantastic view over south Hegau, Lake Constance and the Rhine countryside.
The former Abbey, St. George's comprises of a museum and intact Benedictine monastery facilities.
