Already 200 years ago there was a farm on Nohlbuck with a restaurant. In those days the pilgrims’ way led directly past the farm and the faithful would refresh themselves at the taproom. Nohlbuck is a curiosity due to its border location. Our farm and the private home-run bistro are situated in the Canton of Zurich. The yard however, is partly on German territory and the Canton of Schaffhausen also borders on it.The tavern offers space for max. 55 guests and the terrace for 60 guests.From the terrace there is a magnificent view of the Rhine and all the way to the Rhine Falls basin. There are also panoramic views of the surrounding hill ranges and with good visibility you can see as far as the Alps.
