The museum "of earlier times" depicts an accurate image of rural and artisan life of the past three centuries.
Civil, artisan and especially rural cultural history is what you can experience in this small museum in Jestetten.
The main focus is the kitchen of bygone days, as well as, how the grandmother used to cook - particularly interesting for the younger generation.
The exhibits from A like "Aufschittschneide" (knife for cutting cold cuts) to Z like "Zuckerbrecher" (sugar crusher/grinder), kitchen utensils and manual equipment from past days have been lovingly restored in many hours of devoted work.
