Welcome at the Schloss Laufen at the Rhine Falls!

The Rhine Falls are impressive at any time of the year. They are 150 metres wide and 23 metres high, and up to 600 cubic metres of water thunder over the falls every second. Whether you take a boat ride over the waves to the island lookout point just below the falls or walk along the «Känzeli» panorama trail, you can experience the imposing volumes of water up close from Schloss Laufen.

This castle is situated on the Winterthur–Schaffhausen rail line and is the only castle with its own railway station! Schloss Laufen is also easily accessible by car.
