Hegau-Rhein-Route

This cross-border route takes you through the diverse Reiat, past the gem of a town, Stein am Rhein, and back to the Munot town, Schaffhausen. The focus of this route is one of Europe's most scenic countrysides along the Rhine.

Apart from cultural historical highlights such as Kesslerloch in Thayngen, the Reiat also offers impressive views of the volcanic landscape in Hegau. Route
From Schaffhausen follow the local route via Thayngen, Bietingen (D), Randegg (D), Buch, Ramsen and Hemishofen to Stein am Rhein. Then go on the route Nr. 2 back to Schaffhausen.
