1. Mission
Schaffhauserland Tourism
· Presents the existing tourism services outside of and within the destination in the best possible light
Connects the existing tourist services and offers, for the guests, in a profitable manner
Continues to accompany, support and develop existing tourist services; initiates, accompanies and supports new tourist services
· Promotes an appreciation for tourism with the population of the destination
· Connects parties involved in tourism in the Canton of Schaffhausen and the adjacent regions
· Assumes separately funded public service tasks

2. Objectives
Schaffhauserland tourism
Positions the destination as innovative and urban, and at the same time historical and close to nature
• Promotes and maintains the touristic image of the region, among other things, taking into account the image campaign of the Canton Schaffhausen and in coordination with the office of economic development (Wirtschaftsförderung) and local marketing
· Focuses marketing activities on the primary markets of Switzerland and Germany
· Supports the increase of the value added, and the overnight stays in the destination

3. Values
Schaffhauserland Tourism
· Seeks new ways together with the service partners
· Deals critically on the basis of indicators and surveys with the own performance
& middot Practises, internally and externally, an open and improved performance oriented communication and corporate culture
· Is an employer, whose employees are happy to work for
· Is a role model for service providers regarding communication, quality, customer-friendliness and service
· Thinks and deals economically, although the association is not profit-oriented
